🌟 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞:

My name is Jordyn, and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I have been with TPC for a little over a year and have been practicing as a BCBA for a total of three years.

I have been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for eight years, starting my career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Early on, I developed a passion for supporting clients, celebrating their progress, and building meaningful relationships with families. Although I was unfamiliar with ABA when I first entered the field, I realized that helping children and young adults with autism was fulfilling and an area where I could make a meaningful impact. While completing my Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy at the University of Utah, I worked as an intern in a clinic serving children with disabilities. During this time, I learned more about ABA and began pursuing opportunities in ABA clinics. In addition to my work as an RBT, I also taught preschool for children with autism, which further solidified my decision to pursue my BCBA certification. I spent seven years working in clinic-based settings before joining TPC, where I was excited to expand my expertise and service delivery experience.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy and later completed my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism at Ball State University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of children and families to support growth and positive outcomes. One long-term professional goal of mine is to develop an assessment tool that addresses gaps I have observed in current assessment practices to enhance individualized and effective treatment planning.

Throughout my ABA career, I have primarily worked with children and young adults between the ages of 3 and 18. I have experience providing services both in person and through telehealth, allowing me to adapt my clinical approach to meet the needs of each client and family. My clinical experience includes working with severe and complex behaviors such as aggression, property destruction, elopement, self-injurious behavior, and other maladaptive behaviors. I am passionate about continued learning and look forward to expanding my clinical skill set, particularly in areas such as feeding and eating interventions.

I also live in Utah and enjoy taking advantage of the outdoors year-round. In the winter, I enjoy snowboarding and live about 30 minutes from a ski resort. During the warmer months, I love golfing and have participated in tournaments with friends and family. Outside of work, I also enjoy video games, crafting, cooking and trying new recipes, and spending time with friends. Recently, I purchased a 3D printer, which has become my newest hobby, and I enjoy designing and experimenting with new things to print. 🙂
