Hi, I'm Jordan, and I have proudly been part of the TPC family since 2023, first as a RBT and now as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2020, but my passion for understanding behavior began long before my professional career. I've always been fascinated by the complex factors that shape human behavior and the incredible capacity people have to learn, grow, and thrive.
🔑 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
My passion for behavior led me to earn bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Florida State University, where I served as a clinical psychology research assistant for both the Department of Psychology and the College of Medicine. Working in research taught me to think critically, value scientific inquiry, and appreciate the importance of evidence-based decision making, principles that continue to guide my clinical practice today. I went on to earn my master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, where I further developed the clinical skills needed to translate research into meaningful, individualized outcomes for the families I serve.
🌟 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞:
The most valuable perspective I bring to my work, however, cannot be found on a résumé. Growing up with an older brother on the autism spectrum gave me the extraordinary privilege of experiencing the ABA journey through the eyes of a family. Watching him grow, celebrating his successes, navigating challenges together, and witnessing the profound impact that quality services can have on an individual and their family inspired my own path into this field. Those experiences led me to volunteer at countless special needs summer camps, Special Olympics events, and other programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities long before I became a clinician.
Today, I have the privilege of serving families who are walking a path that is deeply familiar to me. My education, research, and clinical training have provided the scientific foundation to practice ethically and effectively, but my lived experience has shaped the empathy, perspective, and understanding I bring into every interaction. It has taught me that meaningful progress is measured not only by data, but by the confidence of a parent, the independence of a child, and the hope that grows with every milestone. That perspective is something no textbook, research study, or classroom can fully teach, and it is one of the greatest privileges and responsibilities of my career.
♥ 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡:
Outside of work, you will often find me painting, reading, gardening, cuddling with my cats, and experimenting with new recipes.
I believe curiosity and creativity are lifelong pursuits, and they're values that shape both my personal and professional life. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn something new, challenge myself, or see the world from a different perspective. At the end of the day, I find the greatest fulfillment in spending time with the people I love, embracing life's simple joys, and continuing to grow.
